11 x 15 inches watercolor after Maurice de Vlaminck. French. 1876 - 1958. The Chatou Bridge was a constant subject of Vlaminck's work. His father was Flemish and taught him the violin, his mother from Lorraine, France and taught him the piano. With all that music in the air, he became a painter nonethless and started painting in his teens.
