Moshe Castel (1909 - 1991) a Jerusalemite, created many new types of art.

From a Castillian family, he used basalt & sand with bold powerful colors to create a mixture of sculpture and art. Started the "New Horizons Art Group," including Zaritsky, Streichman and Janco.

His works hang in the President's house and in Rockefeller Center in NYC. 

A museum of his works are based in Ma'aleh Adumim.
